Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to own the biller-workflow platform across practice-management and revenue-cycle products in Mountain View. This is a full-stack role with a ~60/40 backend/frontend split, leading a generational rebuild of high-traffic workflows for claims, payments, posting, and related billing operations to serve enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building large-scale full-stack apps; senior or staff leadership.
• Deep expertise in TS, React, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with billing/claims data (EOBs, payments, posting).
• Led multi-team platform rebuilds and incremental production delivery.
• Frontend architecture leadership; design-system adoption.
• Strong API and data-layer design for large datasets.
• CS degree or equivalent engineering background.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.

Responsibilities

• Define frontend and backend architecture, shared conventions, API contracts, data-layer patterns, and observability practices.
• Lead multi-month, multi-team platform rebuilds and migrations, shipping incremental improvements.
• Build data-dense, high-performance interfaces for complex tables and bulk actions.
• Design performant APIs and PostgreSQL query patterns for large datasets.
• Diagnose and improve React rendering and query performance; ensure health of pipelines.
• Embed AI into production workflows to reduce operational friction and suggest rules.
