Job summary

Coram AI is reimagining video security with a cloud-native platform that blends computer vision and AI. You will build and maintain backend services handling video and sensor data at scale, ship AI-native features, and craft scalable APIs interfacing with ML pipelines and edge devices.

You'll also implement frontend components in TypeScript/React and participate in infrastructure decisions from the ground up, thriving in a fast-paced startup-like environment with a strong emphasis on reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar relevant experience.
• Strong experience with Golang, Python, or C++.
• Experience with modern frontend stacks — TypeScript, React (react-query, Tailwind).
• Experience designing and building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Comfort with distributed systems, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes on AWS, Pulumi).
• Fluency with AI-assisted development and opinions on where it works well.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services that ingest, process, and serve video and sensor data at scale.
• Ship AI-native features end to end: natural-language video search, real-time detections, and agentic workflows.
• Implement user-facing frontends in TypeScript/React, collaborating with product.
• Design scalable APIs and systems that interface with ML pipelines and edge devices.
• Collaborate on infrastructure and architecture decisions from the ground up.
• Tackle problems involving distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability.
