Job summary

Coram AI is seeking a systems-minded design leader to own the design vision for an AI-native video security platform used by security and operations teams. You will stay hands-on while building and leading the design team from the ground up, hiring top talent and setting standards for craft.

You’ll partner with product and engineering to shape roadmap, guide multi-site operations, and own critical UX areas like AI search, alert setup, and incident deep-dives.

• Hands-on design leadership with mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the product design vision and strategy for Coram AI across desktop and mobile.
• Build and lead the design team, define roles, hire, and develop talent.
• Mentor designers through feedback, critiques, and clear growth paths.
• Establish design processes, rituals, and standards for speed with craft.
• Stay hands-on in key product areas like AI search, alerts, and incident investigations.
• Shape operations design: multi-site oversight, access control, and incident response.
• Own and evolve the design system and UI library in Figma for scale.
• User research to understand workflows from security operators to facility leaders.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on roadmaps and direction.
