Job summary

Dealpath, a leading real estate tech platform in San Francisco, seeks a Staff Software Engineer to set technical direction and own complex AI-enabled initiatives. You will lead architecture and drive adoption of AI tools while maintaining high standards of quality and security.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, and scale the platform for growth in a hybrid environment with three days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in professional software engineering.
• Proven backend experience: Rails/Flask/Node or similar.
• Advanced frontend experience: React/Angular/Vue or similar.
• Hands on with AI tools in production and adoption impact.
• Experience leading complex multi-team initiatives and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead high impact initiatives across multiple teams from concept to production.
• Shape architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
• Set standards for AI-driven development and tooling adoption.
• Maintain code quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Partner with product, design, and QA to define tech requirements.
• Scale platform reliability and performance across teams.
• Mentor engineers through reviews and pairing to grow judgment.
