Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This remote US-based role focuses on building modern front-end experiences that scale enterprise software.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver user-centric features, strengthen engineering standards, and shape the front-end's technical direction. You will mentor peers, improve performance, accessibility, and code quality, and contribute to architecture

Qualifications

10+ years of front-end development experience with production web applications.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience with state management patterns such as Redux.
Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and solid testing practices.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable front-end solutions using React.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define user-centric features.
Build reusable UI components and contribute to a design system.
Ensure code quality through best practices.
Optimize applications for speed, reliability, and responsiveness.
Ship accessible experiences incorporating WCAG practices.
Participate in architecture discussions and define standards.
Mentor other engineers through technical guidance.
