Coinbase is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Finance Engineering Platform, owning frontend strategy for reconciliation and operations products built with React and TypeScript. You will transform high-volume data into reliable financial records and collaborate with Finance, Product, Design, and Backend teams.

You'll lead architecture decisions, define end-to-end contracts, and raise the technical bar while mentoring engineers and delivering scalable, auditable interfaces for finance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with production web apps in React/TypeScript.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from definition to rollout.
• Frontend architecture expertise including state management and performance.

Responsabilités

• Own frontend strategy and architecture for reconciliation and operations products.
• Lead design of auditable workflows with validation, approvals, error handling, and review history.
• Define end-to-end contracts with backend/API teams.
• Establish frontend quality practices (testing, accessibility, performance, observability).
• Drive high-impact initiatives and align across engineering, product, design, and Finance.
• Collaborate with Finance users to translate pain points into product/technical roadmaps, mentoring engineers.
