Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a talented product engineer to join the team that builds the Claude web and desktop experience. You will work with designers and product managers to translate concepts into polished, ship-ready UI features that feel fast and reliable across devices.

You will own the technical direction for Claude, ship user-facing features, and focus on latency, responsiveness, and overall user experience, enabling millions of users to interact with AI seamlessly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience building consumer-facing web products with a strong UX focus.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for the Claude product and its features.
• Build and ship user-facing features for Claude's web and desktop experience.
• Own the quality bar for latency, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand user needs and tradeoffs as you build.
• Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing, improving the experience continually.
