Job summary

Opiniion is seeking a Staff Engineer, Frontend to lead hands-on execution and raise frontend architecture, performance, and product quality across the platform. You will ship polished, high-trust experiences and mentor engineers, building durable frontend patterns as Opiniion scales.

You will collaborate with the Staff Software Architect and cross-functional teams to define frontend standards, balance current and next-gen platform work, and deliver AI-enabled UI features with speed,

Qualifications

• Significant frontend experience, typically 10+ years in production SaaS.
• Deep React and TypeScript expertise in real-world apps.
• Strong patterns for scalable UI, state management, and accessibility.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical direction.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered UX in production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture governance within the broader technical direction set by the Staff Software Architect.
• Write production-grade frontend code as an individual contributor.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, design feedback.
• Define frontend standards for components, state management, performance, testing, accessibility, maintainability.
• Design and ship AI-capable frontend experiences.
