We are hiring on behalf of our client who is seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Staff Frontend Engineer to lead the technical evolution of its primary application surfaces. Our client provides an institutional-grade yet highly accessible trading application that abstracts away the complexities of on‑chain operations—such as external wallets and bridging—enabling seamless, instantaneous asset access alongside advanced social trading features. Within its first year of operation, the platform has successfully onboarded over 500,000 users and executed more than $3.5 billion in total trading volume.

The successful candidate will join an elite, lean engineering organization comprised of crypto‑native talent drawn from top‑tier decentralized finance (DeFi) and digital asset protocols. This individual will take comprehensive ownership of both the mobile application architecture (developed with Expo) and the web application infrastructure (built utilizing React Router and Vite). As our client scales its core product offering to support novel order types, decentralized perpetuals, prediction markets, and sophisticated social layers, this role provides significant cross‑stack flexibility and foundational architectural ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Ownership: Guide the technical direction, maintenance, and performance optimization of the primary web application (React Router, Vite) and mobile application (Expo) platforms.
• Feature Engineering: Design, develop, and deploy complex user‑facing features, supporting the imminent rollout of advanced order types, perpetual trading frameworks, prediction markets, and integrated social tracking features.
• Cross‑Stack Execution: Maintain absolute autonomy in executing full‑stack adjustments where necessary, collaborating seamlessly with existing TypeScript‑based backend infrastructure.
• AI‑Augmented Development: Leverage and manage agentic software tools and advanced AI assistants to maximize code velocity, code quality, and deployment efficiency.
• Technical Leadership: Formulate comprehensive execution strategies independently, translating high‑level business goals into rigorous, scalable technical plans.

Professional Experience

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, consistently operating at a Staff‑level or equivalent capacity with proven technical autonomy.

Frontend Expertise

• Frontend Expertise: Deep, comprehensive architectural understanding of the React ecosystem, modern state management, and asset compilation workflows.

Web3 & Crypto Proficiency

• Web3 & Crypto Proficiency: Direct technical experience building products within the blockchain ecosystem, with a distinct preference for developers familiar with Solana or Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) protocols.

AI‑Native Workflow

• AI‑Native Workflow: Comfort and proficiency operating within a modern, AI‑augmented development environment that heavily utilizes agentic coding tools.

Full‑Stack Capabilities

• Full‑Stack Capabilities: Strong foundational experience with Node.js and TypeScript on the backend is highly advantageous.
