Job summary

Kikoff is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to raise the technical bar for our company-wide web product surfaces, spanning Kikoff, Grant, and future products. You will own the health, performance, and architecture of the frontend systems that serve our traffic at scale, setting direction and driving the roadmap with PMs, designers, data scientists, and engineers.

You will lead complex frontend initiatives, mentor engineers, and build shared UI components, ensuring fast, reliable, and measurable

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S./M.S. or strong CS fundamentals.
• 8+ years leading large consumer web apps across multiple teams.
• Production React experience.
• Hands-on frontend performance tuning, profiling, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and architecture of Kikoff's frontend across current and future products.
• Lead performance tuning for high-traffic surfaces, focusing on Core Web Vitals, load times, and responsiveness.
• Drive frontend infrastructure work: tooling, CI/CD, observability, testing, and developer experience.
• Develop and evolve shared UI components and libraries; set frontend standards and reviews.
• Oversee cross-team projects to improve reliability, responsiveness, and polish.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the team.
