Genius AI is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to own the technical direction of our web platform, defining shared UI frameworks, libraries, tooling, and release pipelines. This is a force-multiplier role that raises frontend engineering standards across the organization.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver a cohesive, high-quality web experience. The role is hybrid with in-office days in San Francisco and requires commuting flexibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with platform-level impact.
• Deep React and TypeScript expertise with AI-assisted tooling experience.
• Strong web performance knowledge and ability to optimize at scale.
• Experience building and evolving component libraries or design systems.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive scalable frontend components and shared libraries.
• Define long-term technical direction for the web platform.
• Champion AI-powered development tools and set standards across teams.
• Own frontend tooling, pipelines, and developer workflows end-to-end.
• Elevate frontend best practices, accessibility, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
• Partner with product, design, and eng teams to deliver cohesive UX.
