Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/CE.
• 8+ years front-end software engineering experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience leading major front-end initiatives with complex architecture and cross-team coordination.
• Experience building scalable, performant UI systems for large user bases.
• Experience using data/telemetry to drive frontend decisions.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs in writing to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of compiler passes and JavaScript transformations.
• Build and enhance tooling infrastructure including linters, test runners, and analysis tools.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into developer workflows and tooling.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of major JS tooling initiatives across teams.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in build systems and runtimes.
• Mentor engineers on compiler design and tooling architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to set roadmap priorities for developer tools.
• Address technical debt and migrate tooling to modern standards.
