Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an experienced embedded systems engineer to lead FPGA firmware development and cross-functional collaboration across RF, DSP, firmware, FPGA, and software teams.

You will transform Matlab/Simulink algorithms into FPGA implementations, optimize HDL lifecycles, and ensure robust hardware-software integration while supporting Do-254/DO-178C style processes and maintaining readiness for U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or equivalent is required.
• 10+ years designing and verifying FPGA-based systems.
• Experience transitioning firmware/software from concept to production.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver embedded processing solutions for communications and networking.
• Develop FPGA firmware from algorithms through test and sustainment.
• Establish and optimize HDL firmware workflows across architecture to system testing.
• Develop microProcessor ICDs between FPGA and data handling.
