Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an experienced Firmware Verification Engineer to develop and execute test plans for NVMe enterprise SSDs. You will implement grey/white/black box testing, analyze failures, and drive automation within the Firmware & Product Test team.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted test development and ML-driven data analysis with collaboration across firmware, AI, and test teams to improve product reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/DS/EE with substantial experience.
Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries.
Strong testing, debugging, and data analysis skills.
Interest and exposure to AI, LLMs, and AI-driven workflows.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in a team.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute firmware verification plans for NVMe-based enterprise SSDs.
Design grey/white/black box test methodologies to validate firmware.
Analyze failures and perform root-cause analysis with guidance from senior engineers.
Contribute to test development, automation, and reporting within FPT.
Collaborate with firmware, test, and AI/ML teams to improve reliability.
