Job summary

Zia Engineering & Environmental Consultants, LLC is looking for a Staff Field Engineer/Civil Design to assist in ongoing civil construction projects in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, and have 1 to 4+ years of relevant experience in construction oversight and site management.

This role requires active field presence, knowledge of engineering processes, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities include monitoring contractor performance, completing inspection forms, and ensuring alignment with plans and regulations. Strong abilities in drainage analysis and AutoCAD are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4+ years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of engineering and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
