Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Engineering Program Manager (EPM) & SEIT Lead in Chantilly, VA. The role leads systems engineering activities for an USAF EW LRIP program, coordinating across IPTs, PM, and manufacturing to deliver a producible, mission-ready hardware solution.

Requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 1+ year in DoD leadership roles, and active clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI. Relocation assistance may be available and travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• 1+ year in technical or program leadership on DoD programs with RF/EW content.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret / SCI / SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineering liaison across Program Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers.
• Plan and execute systems engineering per the SEMP and program processes.
• Establish executable technical plan and schedule aligned with LRIP milestones.
• Lead technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, SVR) and cross-site reviews.
• Define and verify interfaces across RF, digital, mechanical, power, and software disciplines.
• Oversee System Baseline configuration management and V&V activities.
• Identify and track engineering risks and opportunities; coordinate with IPT Leads.
• Interface with customer and prime contractor on SE topics and proposals.
