Responsibilities

• Develop and modify civil engineering drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.
• Prepare grading, drainage, utility, site development, and earthwork plans.
• Develop and maintain proposed grading surfaces and site layouts.
• Perform quantity take-offs, material estimates, and basic engineering calculations.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, design criteria, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ensure drawings and technical deliverables meet client, industry, and company quality standards.
• Manage drawing revisions, document control, and technical documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical support to project teams.
• Review other designers' work and provide technical guidance when needed.
• Support project scheduling, field activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Duration: Until Dec 2026 (with a possibility of extension)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineering Technician - Civil to support the design and development of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), renewable energy, power, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and be skilled in developing grading, drainage, utility, and site development plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and engineering document control.
• Experience reviewing engineering/design deliverables.
• Previous experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior technicians.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a Civil Engineering Technician/Designer with strong Civil 3D expertise and hands-on experience producing construction-ready civil drawings. Candidates with experience in grading, drainage, utilities, earthwork, and site development, particularly within BESS, renewable energy, power, or industrial projects, are strongly preferred.
