Job summary

Shure is seeking a Senior System Engineer or Software Architect to shape Angular and Node.js features for the Professional Audio platform. You will craft detailed requirements based on interviews and experience, and architect Angular/Node applications with emphasis on AWS and Electron.

You will develop proofs of concept, share best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions for IoT hardware and software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience as System Engineer or Software Architect on Angular, Electron, or Cloud products.
• Strong desire to drive clarity through documentation.
• Articulate, independent and detail oriented.
• IoT product experience highly desired.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Shure will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Responsibilities

• Clarify, shape, and bring structure to new features of the Professional Audio platform roadmap.
• Shape and define detailed requirements based on stakeholder interviews and personal experience.
• Architect, negotiate, and design Angular/Node applications focusing on AWS and Electron.
• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge.
• Develop proofs of concept and reference implementations to validate user experience flows and architectural components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of hardware, firmware, and Angular/Node-based applications and services.
