Job summary

Shure is seeking a Senior Engineer, Application Systems Development (Application Security) to design, develop, and test platform independent GUI applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will integrate with wired and wireless protocol stacks and embedded firmware within professional audio products, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to define use cases and tests.

This remote role reports to the Niles, IL HQ and requires strong Angular/TypeScript/GraphQL skills, experience with Nx

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application development with a strong portfolio.
Hands-on expertise with Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with Nx monorepos, Electron, and Node.js including native addons.

Responsibilities

Works on cross-functional development teams to design and implement platform independent GUI application software that controls and manages cutting edge audio products and networking technologies.
Collaborates with marketing, and test and system engineering to define platform independent GUI application software use cases and requirements.
Prototypes GUI application software using technologies such as Angular.
Participates in architecture, design and development with technical guidance to internal developers.
Participates in integration and test plans for GUI software with embedded systems.
