Job summary

BeLit, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer who will operate under the supervision of a Director or Division Lead. The role emphasizes development, training, and foundational technical execution to build skills for future licensure.

The position offers exposure to design projects, construction materials, and means and methods. You will work under licensed engineers and gain experience in design documentation, project coordination, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Assist with drafting, modeling, and preparation of construction documents under the oversight and direction of the Project Manager
• Support design development tasks for single-family, multi-family, and other assigned projects
• Contribute to delegated product development and design tasks in collaboration with the Project Manager
• Perform preliminary design analyses, including wind load calculations, for coordination with delegated design of pre-manufactured building components
• Review applicable building codes and product specifications as part of the learning process
• Participate in advanced design tasks at the discretion and direction of the Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist with field calls and RFIs under the supervision of the Project Manager
• Support generation of revisions and addenda as directed
• Maintain logs of work performed and track assigned tasks
• Effectively track time and job status to support efficient project workflow
• Communicate progress, questions, and issues clearly with the Project Manager
