Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Stateful Systems in Seattle, WA. You will own critical data-layer components that power field deployments, including a rebuilt time-series engine and a durable, scalable storage layer.

The role emphasizes ownership, performance, and reliability in real-world environments. You will tackle correctness under partition, design robust consensus and durability strategies, and collaborate across a small team to ship load-bearing

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/engineering.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience, focused on distributed systems or robotics.
• Deep experience with one or more systems languages (Python, Go, C++, Rust).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: replication, consistency, partition behavior, failure modes.

Responsabilidades

• Redesign the time-series engine to scale horizontally across many writers and nodes (350+ sensor towers, thousands of feeds).
• Develop a high-availability distributed storage stack with pluggable backends and zero-downtime migrations.
• Ensure correctness under partition and unreliable networks, driving convergence guarantees.
• Address hard distributed-systems problems like consistency models, replication, and durability at scale.
