Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on distributed systems or robotics.
• Strong experience with Python, Go, C++, or Rust.
• Production experience building or operating storage engines or large-scale data infrastructure.
• Ability to reason about replication, consistency, partition behavior, and failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Redesign time-series engine to scale horizontally across writers and nodes.
• Develop distributed storage with high-availability and pluggable backends.
• Ensure correctness under partition in environments with intermittent connectivity.
• Address hard distributed-systems problems like replication, durability guarantees.
