We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of our core applications. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex backend data systems, emerging AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences.
Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and development of highly scalable web applications, from responsive, user-centric frontends to robust backend services.
Architect and implement rich, interactive dashboards and user interfaces that surface complex data insights in an intuitive, performant, and accessible manner.
Design and develop secure, scalable APIs (REST, GraphQL) and integration layers. Build seamless connections between our applications and diverse data objects, enterprise databases, and third-party platforms.
Champion the integration of AI/ML technologies (e.g., Large Language Models, generative AI, predictive analytics) into core products. Develop intelligent features that automate user workflows and provide advanced data synthesis.
Build and enhance MFT automations well beyond basic input/output file transfers, including complex orchestration, intelligent error handling, proactive monitoring, and self-service capabilities.
Drive continuous delivery and cloud-native best practices. Architect, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure high availability and rapid release cycles.
Establish rigorous standards for monitoring, logging, and performance profiling across the stack. Act as the ultimate escalation point for complex, full-stack production issues and lead root-cause analysis.
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers. Establish coding standards, drive reusable design patterns, and collaborate closely with product leadership to groom the backlog and shape the technical roadmap.
7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
Mastery of modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue) and experience with complex state management and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Recharts, Highcharts).
Deep expertise in server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or Go). Proven ability to design scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), ORMs, and integrating complex, high-volume data feeds into application layers.
Hands-on experience integrating AI models and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) into software products. Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and vector databases.
Expert-level knowledge of public cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to break down complex business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent ability to communicate architectural decisions to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Experience building internal developer platforms (IDP) or self-service tooling for engineering teams.
Familiarity with data streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) for real-time integrations and API driven MFT integrations.
Experience in secure software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) practices and data compliance.
Experience supporting, designing, or enabling AI-ready architectures and workflows.
Familiarity with healthcare data, regulatory compliance (HIPAA), and healthcare insurance feeds.
~ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
