This role will also support product development quality activities, semiconductor regulatory compliance initiatives, and the deployment of advanced quality systems supporting AI-enabled processes and emerging regulatory requirements.**Key Responsibilities include:*** Lead and/or collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to ensure accelerated closure of complex product and process quality issues from initiation to closure.* Standardize and Implement Quality Management Systems across ADI sites. Shares BKMs and procedures with ADI manufacturing sites.* Act as a technical expert to lead IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA QMS audits. Implement procedures and best practices per industry QMS standards.* Develop and train other lead auditors per industry QMS standards.* Facilitate interactions with IATF external registrars to coordinate audits.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed audit plans, set expectations, and develop systems and procedures per IATF16949 and VDA automotive quality standards.* Facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools in root-cause investigation and corrective action identification.* Manage corporate level QMS systems to manage customer requirements, management reviews, corrective action plans, etc.* Partner with product development, design engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities throughout the product lifecycle.* Facilitate and support Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) reviews to ensure risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and documented in accordance with product development and customer requirements.* Provide quality systems leadership and guidance for semiconductor-specific regulatory and compliance requirements, including automotive, cybersecurity, and customer specific requirements.* Support implementation and maintenance of processes required to meet European Union Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements, including participation in Module H conformity assessment activities.* Drive adoption of digital quality systems, data analytics, AI-enabled tools, and Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Power BI, and Copilot) to improve quality system effectiveness, audit readiness, and operational efficiency.* Develop and share quality best known methods (BKMs) across global sites and organizations to support product quality, design quality, and regulatory compliance objectives.**Education and Experience Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience.* Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry in the functional areas of Quality Management Systems, product quality, regulatory compliance, and audits.* Excellent knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA standards, and automotive core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan, and MSA.* Must have experience managing IATF16949 audits at the corporate level.* Strong background in product design, design engineering, product development, or design quality processes with demonstrated experience supporting DFMEA activities.* Knowledge of semiconductor industry quality, reliability, customer specific, and regulatory compliance requirements.* Experience supporting cybersecurity, functional safety, or regulatory compliance initiatives within semiconductor or electronics development environments is preferred.* Working knowledge of the European Union Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), including Module H conformity assessment requirements and associated quality management system expectations, is preferred.* Experience leveraging Microsoft technologies and AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, Copilot, and related analytics platforms to improve quality and business processes.* Great collaborator that leads through influence.* Excellent project planning, scheduling, documentation, training, coordination, and communication skills.* Excellent knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in high-volume semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environments.* Professional quality certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), or equivalent are preferred.* Experience as an IATF 16949 Lead Auditor, VDA 6.3 Process Auditor, or VDA 6.5 Product Auditor is highly desirable.* Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Reliability, or related technical discipline is preferred.*For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
