Job summary

Chainalysis Government Solutions is seeking a Staff Engineer, Public Sector (FedRAMP) to lead the technical ownership and evolution of our FedRAMP cloud boundary. You will collaborate across Inc engineering, CGS leadership, and security teams to ensure scalable, compliant cloud platforms.

You will design secure CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and infrastructure, while championing continuous monitoring and NIST 800-53 controls. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software, DevOps, cloud, or systems engineering experience in FedRAMP environments.
• Ability to operate with high autonomy as a Staff-level technical lead.
• Deep AWS cloud and infrastructure expertise across services and IaC.
• Strong experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker/EKS).
• Security/compliance acumen including FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and ConMon.

Responsibilities

• Owns technical ownership, architecture, and CD pipelines for FedRAMP boundary.
• Lead cross-entity engineering with Inc and CGS leadership on compliance and deployment patterns.
• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and AWS GovCloud/Commercial boundaries.
• Partner with security/compliance teams to automate vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Build observability and automation via Infrastructure as Code and telemetry.
• Provide architecture reviews and coaching across teams to adopt best practices.
