Job summary

Cyware is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, secure, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS and AWS GovCloud. You’ll own CI/CD, deployments, and operational reliability across commercial and government environments, ensuring security, availability, and FedRAMP/GovRAMP compliance.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Security/GRC to streamline production and automate environments, while enabling scalable sites and on-premise support where needed.

Qualifications

• : 5+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE with cloud experience.
• Hands-on with FedRAMP High, GovRAMP, IL5 or DoD authorization frameworks.
• Experience with security and audit readiness in gov environments.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to productionize on AWS and AWS GovCloud.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Support Helm packaging and ArgoCD/GitOps deployment to Kubernetes.
• Harden infrastructure within FedRAMP/GovRAMP/IL5 compliance boundaries.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads, Helm versions, and release promotion across envs.
• Implement IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK; support DB deployment migrations.
• Develop monitoring, logging, and automation for gov-grade availability.
• Coordinate with Security/GRC for continuous monitoring and audits.
• Contribute to design, troubleshoot, and improve production systems.
