Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a Staff Engineer to join the Renewable Energy Team in Bloomington, Indiana. You will manage moderate to complex geotechnical projects, applying technical expertise to exceed client expectations while coordinating fieldwork and reporting.

The role requires a BS in geotechnical or civil engineering and 2+ years of related experience. Travel up to 15% and collaborative work across departments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering field is required.
• Two or more years of construction materials testing or geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work and proposals for moderate to complex geotechnical projects, primarily in renewables.
• Review field logs and soil samples for classification and boring log preparation.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies.
• Manage geotechnical projects including scope, schedule, budget and safety.
