Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Traveling Staff Engineer or Geologist to join our team. The role involves frequent travel to support renewable energy, infrastructure, and mission critical projects.

The position includes oversight of field personnel, field testing, and coordination with engineering project leads. A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geotechnical, civil, or related field, or Geology.
• Two+ years of construction materials testing or geotechnical experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel 60–90% and work on site at field locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geological field investigations, including mapping, sampling, and logging.
• Analyze rock, soil, groundwater, and geophysical data.
• Prepare technical reports, maps, and cross-sections.
• Support renewables and mission critical projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients.
