Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering required.
• 6+ years in mechanical design and product development for electrical components, connectors, or cable assemblies.
• Strong experience in power connector design and related manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and mentor engineering teams.
• Drive cost reduction through innovative design and material optimization.
• Develop and validate electrical contact systems with attention to current carrying capability, resistance, and thermal performance.
• Design sealed connectors and interfaces with proper gasket selection and IP rating.
• Translate VOC into engineering specs through collaboration with customers and internal teams.
• Create CAD models, perform DFMEA, and conduct tolerance analyses.
• Build prototypes, run validation testing, and guide product qualification to release.
• Support manufacturing, tooling, and quality teams for successful launches.
• Maintain and improve documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
