Job summary

G2i is seeking a Staff Engineer to set technical direction across frontend, backend, and deployment. You will mentor teams, shape architecture, and drive delivery for high-velocity product initiatives.

You’ll partner with Product and Design to deliver robust developer platforms and dashboards, advocate best practices, and raise the execution bar while maintaining quality in a remote-first, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building software, including leadership roles (EM/Tech Lead/Head of Eng).
• Strong full-stack understanding (React + Node.js) and modern frontend patterns.
• Experience shipping and operating production systems with cloud, CI/CD, observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering team: hiring, coaching, performance management.
• Set and evolve technical strategy for developer platforms, dashboards, and internal tooling.
• Partner with Product/Design to deliver roadmap outcomes with high velocity and craftsmanship.
• Establish engineering standards: code quality, testing, security, and ops excellence.
• Own delivery health: sprint hygiene, predictable execution, on-call practices.
• Drive architecture decisions across front-end, back-end (tRPC encouraged), and deployment (Docker + CI/CD).
• Build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement across teams.
