Job summary

Multiplier Holdings is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer to shape the technical foundation for the Knowledge Intelligence Pod (KIP). You will write production code, design durable abstractions, and mentor engineers while aligning with users’ needs in tax and accounting workflows.

You’ll own how systems perform, scale, and stay reliable as real professionals depend on them, driving end-to-end product ownership and technical leadership across the stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software and leading complex systems.
• Product-minded and close to users to ship real value.
• Strong across the stack: backend, APIs, data models, UIs and production debugging.
• Experience with applied AI and/or financial systems and data preferred.
• Calm with ambiguity and ownership, turning fuzzy problems into shipped systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical foundation for KIP.
• Write production code and design durable abstractions.
• Mentor engineers and drive architecture decisions at scale.
• Achieve reliability, observability, and security across systems.
• Partner with Pod Lead to roadmap and align engineering with product goals.
