Job summary

CloudWalk, Inc. is building the future of payments with a Rust-based stack. We seek a software engineer to design and operate real-time systems that authorize, process, and reconcile transactions with high performance and security.

You will own critical paths in the issuing flow—authorization, clearing, and ledgering—and collaborate to push architecture across teams, aiming for low latency and fault tolerance. This role requires hands-on debugging and strong systems thinking.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of concurrency and fault tolerance.
• Experience with high-reliability fintech/infra is a plus.
• Proficiency in Rust or willingness to learn deeply.

What You'll Do

• Build and operate high-performance services in Rust

• Ensure system integrity and correctness across all transaction flows
• Drive architecture decisions across teams

What You Need to Succeed

• Strong experience with distributed systems
• Solid understanding of concurrency, consistency, and fault tolerance
• Experience with high-reliability systems (fintech, infra, etc) is a plus
• Experience with Rust, or willingness to go deep into it
• Hands-on mindset and strong debugging skills
