Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a Staff Engineer 2 to join our Land Use Waterfront team in Providence, RI. In this role, you will assist in designing coastal and waterfront structures and handle a variety of projects that promote community resilience.

With 3–5 years of experience preferred, candidates should bring a strong background in civil or structural engineering, along with relevant certifications and skills in structural analysis tools. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in structural or coastal engineering, preferably with waterfront projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; PE license progression encouraged.
• Familiarity with structural design codes and marine design guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and analysis of coastal and waterfront structures.
• Support the development of construction drawings and technical reports.
• Conduct field investigations to assess site conditions.
