Tighe & Bond Inc. is looking for a Staff Engineer 2 to join our Land Use Waterfront team in Providence, RI. You will assist with the design and analysis of coastal structures including piers and seawalls while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The ideal candidate has a background in civil or structural engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in waterfront projects. This position offers a hybrid work environment along with comprehensive benefits such as medical insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of experience in structural or coastal engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and analysis of coastal structures.
• Support the development of construction drawings and specifications.
• Conduct field investigations to assess site conditions.
