Job summary

Trellix is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the design and development of a high-performance Cloud Threat Detection Platform. You will architect and implement high-throughput submission pipelines, microservices, and secure AWS infrastructure, while guiding front-end interfaces and analyst dashboards.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, AI-assisted workflows, and strict security/compliance.

Qualifications

• 11+ years in high-throughput microservices, cloud platforms, and full-stack web architectures.
• Deep AWS expertise for large-scale enterprise systems.
• Linux proficiency and shell scripting.
• Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask) development.
• REST/async APIs handling millions of requests.
• C/C++ for low-level interfaces; Go preferred.
• CI/CD and IaC (GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
• Web UI: Django/React/JS/HTML/CSS.
• AWS core infra: VPCs, EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, OpenSearch.
• Security: OAuth2, JWT, SAML; FedRAMP.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Cloud Threat Detection Platform pipelines and microservices.
• Build modern web interfaces and dashboards.
• Architect high-volume submission pipelines with low latency.
• Manage end-to-end AWS infrastructure (VPCs, ALB/ELB, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda).
• Leverage AI tools to streamline development, reviews, and workflows.
• Ensure secure API boundaries, OAuth2/JWT/SAML compliance.
• Own production issues end-to-end, including triage and RCA.
• Maintain SDL practices and FedRAMP compliance.
