Job summary

Dover Fueling Systems, based in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced Validation Engineer to lead complex testing across embedded software, hardware, and mechanical subsystems. You will develop comprehensive test plans, risk-based coverage, and verification matrices while guiding teams through development, qualification, and product sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering with extensive validation/test experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in validating hardware/software/medical devices or complex assemblies.
• Strong problem-solving skills including root cause analysis and robust documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead validation and testing activities for embedded software, hardware, and mechanical systems during development and qualification phases.
• Develop validation strategies, test plans, risk-based coverage, and traceability to requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations to ensure product readiness and coverage.
