Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed professional engineers. You will work toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support, on projects from building pads to heavy industrial programs.

Responsibilities include planning drilling and field testing, reducing lab data, drafting geotechnical reports, and coordinating field crews with scheduling.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or exam date scheduled.
• Willingness to work in field on construction sites.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
