Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and reporting under licensed engineers. You will observe drilling, field testing, data review, and writing for diverse projects from pads to industrial programs.

Expect mentorship toward PE licensure, exam support, and hands-on experience across geotechnical, materials, and forensic practice, with a blend of field and office work and travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam scheduled.
• Field-willing: real projects, real dirt, real weather.
• Clear technical writing.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs;
• Reduce and review laboratory data;
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports;
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations;
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects;
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
