Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed professional engineers. You will log borings, classify samples, draft geotechnical and materials reports, coordinate field crews, and advance toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• EIT certificate or exam date scheduled.
• Field-willing: able to work on real projects, in varying weather and sites.
• Clear technical writing required.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs
• Reduce and review laboratory data
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on assigned projects
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support
