Job summary

Terracon is seeking an engineering professional to provide consulting services across various projects. The role involves leading field investigations, performing engineering analyses, and preparing reports and design documents for diverse clients in public, commercial, and industrial sectors.

You will work under supervision of senior engineers, contributing to scope development, cost estimation, and project scheduling while ensuring quality and safety standards on site in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 1–3 years of experience minimum required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or lead field investigations and engineering analysis.
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Communicate complex engineering concepts to clients and teams.
• Develop proposals and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Supervise project staff and assist in scope development.
