Job summary

ARM Group LLC seeks a self-driven Staff Engineer to grow with an ownership mindset. You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, PMs, CAD designers, and staff on energy and power projects, focusing on erosion control, stormwater management, and land development design.

The role involves engineering calculations, reports, and CAD design updates while communicating with clients and regulators. Travel to sites and multi-project exposure are expected.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• E.I.T. certification preferred; opportunity to obtain.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D or equivalent software.
• Self-starter with strong communication, planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports for commercial/industrial and utility-scale solar projects in the Mid-Atlantic.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze potential problems.
• Perform/verify technical calculations related to erosion and sediment control and stormwater design.
• Research codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements for project compliance.
• Prepare reports, letters, emails, permits, and related documents.
