You will mentor engineers, drive architectural improvements, and participate in on-call rotations, with a hybrid work model and the potential for US-based remote candidates.

Qualifications

• Significant domain-relevant engineering experience building highly reliable distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of the Go programming language.
• Willingness to learn Perl to support core infrastructure.
• Ability to drive cross-team projects with influence.
• Effective communicator in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

• Support, deploy, and own Perl-based production systems at scale across thousands of nodes.
• Evolve legacy systems into maintainable, high-performance Go microservices.
• Provide technical leadership, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive progress.
• Collaborate with teams to meet requirements for new features and capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and foster knowledge sharing and teamwork.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
