Fastly is seeking a Staff Software Engineer – Control Systems to join the team that translates customer intent into the configuration data powering Fastly’s edge. You will shape, scale, and secure the core Fastly experience across products and teams.

This role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and solving complex problems at scale. You’ll work with Perl production systems and evolve legacy code into Go microservices, mentor peers, and participate in on-call rotations, with a hybrid/US-remote
