Job summary
Corning Inc. is seeking a Clean Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve contamination control strategies and clean manufacturing systems supporting Corning’s advanced manufacturing and innovation activities.
The role collaborates with research, development, engineering, and manufacturing teams across the lifecycle to enhance product quality and process capability, applying cleanroom science and data-driven problem solving in lab, pilot, and manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in contamination control or clean manufacturing.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems with data-driven approaches.
Responsibilities
- Deliver contamination control, clean processing, and clean manufacturing solutions across Corning businesses.
- Design, develop, and implement cleanroom systems and contamination control strategies.
- Lead experiments, data analysis, and root-cause investigations for contamination issues.
- Collaborate with research, development, facilities, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams.
