Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical Eng or related
• Minimum 5 yrs experience in contamination control, clean manufacturing, or related engineering disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to apply scientific and engineering principles to solve complex technical problems
• Strong understanding of process development and technology implementation across stages of innovation
• Experience leading structured problem-solving and root cause investigations

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions for contamination control, clean processing, and clean manufacturing across Corning businesses
• Design, develop, and implement cleanroom systems and process improvements for quality and yield
• Lead experiments, data analysis, and engineering studies to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Collaborate with research, development, facilities, operations, quality, and manufacturing teams
• Develop specifications and requirements for cleanroom facilities, equipment, and utilities
• Evaluate contamination monitoring and cleanliness verification methods for compliance
• Support technology scale-up and transfer from lab to pilot and manufacturing
• Review project progress and risks with stakeholders and customers
• Document findings and best practices to support execution and learning
