Qualifications

BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
Strong CAD skills for 3D modeling, drawings, and system layout.
Familiarity with eCAD and harness design software.
Experience defining PCB constraints and mechanical interfaces with electrical engineers.
Experience with PCB layout processes and manufacturing methods.
Experience with FEA, thermal analysis, and fatigue testing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Responsibilities

Design complex electro-mechanical solutions for high voltage power electronics packaging and aircraft integration.
Execute analyses to ensure survivability in harsh environments (thermal, structural, vibration).
Ensure avionics meet DO-160, DO-254, DO-178C, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 standards.
Own design work from concept to implementation through system verification and validation.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and PCB designers to ensure full scope meets product demands.
