Shield AI in Seattle is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and integrate next-generation autonomous aircraft hardware. You will own architecture, circuit design, and embedded systems for complex systems including FPGA, microcontrollers, sensors, and avionics.

You will define requirements, collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams, mentor peers, and drive timelines from concept to release in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Strong technical fundamentals and track record shipping hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture, sub-system and circuit design for aircraft and support gear.
• Lead embedded systems and sensors design enabling autonomy and AI.
• Define technical product requirements and features; mentor teammates.
