General Responsibilities:

Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This includes performing and leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and preparing reports. Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track project progress and budgets, and recommend changes. Research and resolve design and construction issues. Analyze laboratory or field data for reports. Communicate complex engineering issues to clients and teams. Services may include public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial sectors.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Maintain quality standards in proposal and project delivery.
• Manage small projects of minimal complexity.
• Assist in developing scope of work, cost estimates, and project documents.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis for PE review.
• Coordinate or supervise field investigations and laboratory testing.
• Develop project plans and schedules.
• Collaborate with senior project managers and Professional Engineers.
• Make design recommendations and modifications.
• Prepare work scope, proposals, and reports.
• Supervise field staff and support personnel.
• Communicate with clients and project teams regarding scope and progress.
• Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer and authorized reviewer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 1-3 years’ experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable violations.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) required.
