Job summary

Uber is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Agentic Systems to lead the Enterprise Security Team. You will design and scale the next-generation endpoint security platform across macOS, Windows, and Linux, driving security posture management, vulnerability handling, and automation.

You will mentor engineers, define technical strategy, and partner with IT/product/ops to implement scalable, AI-driven defenses while delivering high-impact security outcomes for Uber’s global infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of security or software engineering experience.
• Proven track record in managing complex security programs such as Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security, or Application Security.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Java.
• Experience delivering security at cloud scale.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise security roadmap and strategy.
• Own endpoint platform architecture for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Build and scale next-generation security platforms and services.
• Lead vulnerability strategy across endpoints and applications.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with IT, product, and operations to scale security across the environment.
