Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on embedded hardware development and debugging; API design for FPGA interfacing.
• Strong C and object-oriented programming (preferably C++).
• Experience with real-time Linux or RTOS and multi-threaded systems.

Responsibilities

• Define embedded software architectures and drive engineering methodologies.
• Design and implement software for embedded devices from requirements to deployment.
• Review code and system designs; analyze for efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Interface with hardware design and other engineering teams.
• Assess third-party and open-source software and support QA.
• Provide post-production/in-orbit customer support.
• Advance technical direction across multiple products and programs.
• Ensure high-performance I/O and real-time system coding practices.
